Kona is the daughter of Latte' and we have raised her from birth. She is very smart and a lot of fun. She was very quick to learn sit, stay, down, and come. All of our dogs are house and crate trained. We have taken her across the eastern U.S. several times, and she just loves meeting new friends and staying in hotels. She loves to ride in our suv and put her head on the arm rest right beside me as I drive down the road. We often take her to the baseball park and watch our boys play ball. She loves to chase and retrieve the balls that are hit in the outfield during practice.

Kona is our alpha dog. It is amazing to watch her train the younger dogs and puppies during their play time in the yard. You see her separate off the younger pups and use the rope toy to play tug and lead them around the yard. If one of the puppies get out of line, she is right there to sternly tell them what to do. Kona has been a great mother and has the most beautiful, easy going, easy to train puppies. We have kept two of her puppies Mac and Sam for future My Awesome Labs females.

Kona loves being around us where ever we go. She enjoys laying on the couch with us and watching TV all of the time. Every chance she gets, she is sleeping on the bed with us. Kona is always playing retrieve with her toys. She will bring a ball to you and just wait for you to throw it across the yard.

Something about all of our dogs, when we are busy at the computer, at the warehouse or at the farm, they will sit right at your feet and wait for you to finish your work so they can go play. They would rather be with you than off wondering around.
